Olga Lukovska wrote : Pressure or Lenin - A Red Cloth, the painting of Roman Rembovsky. This painting stands out by its originality and symbolic meaning. It emphasizes memories, which are inspired by an old attribution of Soviet autocratic ideology. The old flag, accidentally found between forgotten and abandoned things, can seem depressive, but it catches your eye by its deep philosophical meaning and encourages you to think. The portrait of Lenin, who used to be the man's ideal and symbol of adoration, is disgraced and damaged by the glass. The symbolism of the painting shows how meaningless the autocratic regime was. Rumpled, a bit destroyed cloth. The glass destroys the features of Lenin, as well as the slogan, which changes the meaning after you read it. These are all signs of shameful megalomania. The painting is even more emotionally amplified by the rusty sickle lying on the glass. The sickle represents the dead ideology that destroyed millions of lives.
