Michael Diliberto

An artist and designer who has been creating art for the past 40 years, Michael is a native New Yorker who was born in the Bronx and grew up in Queens. He attended Pratt Institute, Minneapolis College of Art & Design and is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Design and Communications. With a career in graphic design and advertising, Michael’s landscapes are atmospheric abstractions with strong color and a fluid design aesthetic. “I approach each canvas with an intuitive plan. However, the end result is usually 180 degrees from where I started. This is where emotions and design sense take over. My work is a process of layering and mark-making creating rich, complex surfaces.”

Michael lives in the beautiful, northern countryside on the outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland with his fiancé Jennifer and their two French bulldogs, Romeo and Juliet.
