Sepia is also known as the reddish-brown tint usually seen in monochrome photographs of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Think those cool grainy photos from the Wild West days. Contrary to popular belief, photographs don\u2019t become sepia over time, they were actually created like that to last longer. According to ABC Science<\/a>, sepia toning was created through secretions of the cuttlefish which is applied during print development, which gave it that inky feel. <\/span><\/p>\n
